‘Live With Kelly’: Who Are the Guest Co-Hosts for the Week of June 13

Kelly Ripa welcomes back a couple familiar faces to the desk on Live with Kelly this week including her husband Mark Consuelos. Jerry O’Connell, who was a serious contender to become the new co-host during Ripa’s last search, returns for his 13th time as a guest host.

Morris Chestnut, from Fox’s Rosewood, and Central Intelligence star Kevin Hart will make their debuts as guest co-hosts. Ripa continues her search for a replacement for Michael Strahan, who exited Live last month to join Good Morning America full-time.

Here’s the schedule of co-hosts and guests this coming week on Live with Kelly.

Chestnut Joins Ripa for the First Time on Monday

Chestnut made his first appearance on Live with Kelly last month as a guest to preview the final episodes of his Fox freshmen series, Rosewood. He also discussed his incredible physique and nearly cracked Ripa’s back with his hug.

The co-hosts will welcome The Daily Show host Trevor Noah and Disney Channel star Sabrina Carpenter, who appears in the remake of Adventures in Babysitting. They will also enjoy a performance by country singer Frankie Ballard.

Jerry O’Connell’s Wife Thinks He Would Make a ‘Great’ Replacement

O’Connell will make his 13th and 14th guest host appearances this week, filling the seat next to Ripa on Tuesday and Wednesday. The 42-year-old actor was on the short list to replace Regis Philbin after he left Live in 2011, but lost out to Strahan.

Rebecca Romijn, O’Connell’s wife, told Entertainment Tonight in April that she thinks her husband would make a great new co-host with Ripa.

I love watching him and Kelly together. He and Kelly are awesome [together]. He was born and raised in New York City, which I think is really important for whoever fills that seat. That’s why people loved Regis Philbin so much — he was a native New Yorker. It is such a New York show, even though it’s national. Jerry is a wholesome married man with children, and people can relate to that when they watch a morning program.

On Tuesday, O’Connell and Ripa’s guest will be Independence Day: Resurgence star Jeff Goldblum and actress/reality star NeNe Leakes. The next day their guests include Ed O’Neill, promoting the new Disney-Pixar movie Finding Dory and Game of Thrones star Michiel Huisman. They also will have a performance by country singer Brandy Clark.

Is Kevin Hart Really Looking for Another Job?

Hart may be one of the hardest working actors in Hollywood, but is taking a little time to join Ripa as her guest host on Thursday. He stars in the new action comedy Central Intelligence opposite Dwayne Johnson out June 17 and is remaking the favorite ’90s film, Jumanji.

They will welcome guests Martin Short, one half of NBC’s variety show Maya & Marty, and actress/comedian Ana Gasteyer, whose last appearance on Live was to fill in for Ripa following the fallout of Strahan’s exit announcement. Hart and Ripa will also learn more about proper wedding etiquette playing “I Do or I Don’t” with Carley Roney, the founder of TheKnot.com.

Mr. and Mrs. Mark Consuelos Host ‘Live’ on Friday

Ripa invites her husband Consuelos back to the desk at the end of the week. He last co-hosted on June 3. On Friday, they will sit down with Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey, who stars in the new movie, Free State of Jones.

For the week of June 20, look forward to guest co-hosts John Leguizamo, Josh Groban, Anderson Cooper and Jussie Smollett. Cooper and Smollett have guest hosted multiple times during the search for Strahan’s replacement and Groban was another serious contender to replace Philbin four years ago.
