Honora Bowen and Michael Strutzel are the two survivalists on tonight’s Naked And Afraid, and things do not go well for them. The couple split up and go it alone in Brazil.

1. The Two Get Divorced
For the first time on the show, there is a divorce. After a giant argument, Honora and Michael decide to part ways for the rest of their time in Brazil. Watch the cringe-worthy clip above.
2. Matt Used to Pretend to Be Davy Crockett

Matt was born and raised in Southwest Florida and developed a passion for the outdoors at a young age. While his parents were away at work, he would explore the woods outside his home while pretending to be Daniel Boone or Davy Crockett, from “can’t see” in the morning to “can’t see” at night. As a teenager, he adopted a vegan diet and started to develop his primitive camping skills during weeklong ventures into The Everglades with an environmental activism group.

3. Honora Is an Extreme Athlete

Aside from being a massage therapist, Honora is an extreme athlete with many other pastimes and skills. Her Discovery bio reads:
Honora is a nationally certified massage therapist and energy worker, extreme athlete, herbalist, and survivalist. She has been pushing her body and mind from a young age, adapting from her early experiences of martial arts, competitive running, swimming and skiing to back-country snowboarding, rock climbing, long distance swimming, and mountaineering as an adult. She received her first certifications in CPR and first aid at the age of ten … While adventuring throughout the mountains, she often collects natural plant materials for her herbal body product business. She also porters her own massage table into the wilderness and has given donation-based massages along the Pacific Crest and John Muir Trails, as well as on cliff ledges and portaledges. She completed the Lake Tahoe Marathon, one of the most difficult in the world, in 2012.
In addition:
Honora enjoys yoga and fire dancing in her spare time. She is currently a theater and music major with a 4.0 GPA, and is in the process of becoming a Wilderness First Responder. She strives to spend as much time as possible outside, barefoot with her dog!

Matt joined a group called Trackers Earth that helped him explore his survival side even more than he already had. Discovery writes:
At 20 years old, Matt moved to Portland, Oregon, and became involved with an outdoor education organization called Trackers Earth. There, he further honed his survival skills and began teaching outdoor education to youths and adults. He currently teaches blacksmithing while pursuing a degree in Urban Studies with the goal of becoming mayor of Portland.
5. Honora Poses Nude for a Calendar

Three times thus far, Honora has posed for the calendar “Stone Nudes.” Discovery writes:
By age 22, Honora had snowboarded a first descent down a Yosemite gully, solo hiked hundreds of miles throughout the Appalachians and Sierra Nevadas, and traveled to Thailand as a rock climber and model for her third “Stone Nudes” calendar, where she swam two separate 3-mile stretches of coastline in the Indian Ocean.
Clearly, Honora doesn’t have a problem with being naked then … especially since she’s loved being naked since she was little, dancing nude in the rain.
