Rumor has it that Joaquin Phoenix will grace the big screen with his presence. ShockTillYouDrop.com reports that Phoenix will play Edgar Allan Poe in a film adapted from Daniel Stashower’s The Beautiful Cigar Girl. The story focuses on the mysterious death of Mary Rogers and a story Poe wrote a year later titled “The Mystery of Marie Roget.” That sounds like a weird enough role for Joaquin.
