Sean Penn is notoriously anti-paparazzi, and it seems as though the apple truly doesn’t fall far from the tree. The 19-year-old Hopper Penn was caught on tape shoving an African-American paparazzo and shouting racist and homophobic slurs at him.
This time he should have followed his dad’s example, because Sean breezed past the photographer and walked straight into a building. Hopper lagged behind, taking issue with the photographer’s presence and invasion of his privacy. Hopper shoved the man and proceeded to shout, “F-k you, you’re a f—–g f—-t.” After the paparazzo shouted after him, he continued, “Shut up, you f——g n—–r.” The photographer, sounding shocked, replied with, “Oh, word?” and shouted after the older Penn, “That the kind of talk you’re teaching him, Sean. Huh?”

Police were on the scene shortly after, and although the photographer showed the police the footage he didn’t press charges. Speaking to TMZ, Hopper said, “I was accosted by paparazzi and made to feel like an animal, threatened and under attack. But that does not condone my own actions. I deeply regret my choice of words.” If this was the first time something like this had happened it would be more believable, but in 2011 he famously gave the finger to some paparazzi.
