It’s been announced that broke Warner Brothers will team up the two most famous superheroes world in a sequel to this summer’s Man of Steel Superman reboot. The new flick was announced at the studio’s panel in Hall H today. Man of Steel’s Zach Snyder will stay on board as director of this opus.
A tentative release date of 2015 has been set with a Flash movie set for 2016. With a 2017 release set for a Justice League movie, the efforts by WB to create a shared cinematic universe similar to Marvel’s monstrous franchise could come true according to The Hollywood Reporter. Henry Cavill will most likely be reprising his role but the studio has yet to name a new actor to play Batman, but it would appear that Joseph Gordon-Levitt may be the favorite to take the role of the Dark Knight.
