Real Housewives of Orange County Reunion (Part 3) Recap: Top 10 Highlights

Things really heated up on the last installment of the RHOC reunion tonight. Check it all out from start to finish in our Top 10 Highlights.

1. Tamra Accuses Alexis of Staging Her Marriage

In the beginning of this episode, Tamra makes a statement that she feels Alexis staged a lot of her relationship this season. Tamra says there was too much sweetness and no depth, only dancing and love. Alexis assures her that their marriage is not perfect.

2. There Is a Sneak Peek to Eddie and Tamra’s Wedding Special

There’s a lot of drama, cursing, yelling, but it all seems to end with a beautiful day at the alter. Third time’s a charm for Tamra. The show premieres next Monday.

3. Gretchen Rossi Didn’t Watch the Reunion

Apparently, Gretchen did not want to watch the reunion. She told Gather:

I didn’t watch it. I skipped it. I was working, but I lived it, I don’t need to see it again.

4. Brianna’s Husband’s Going to Work With Vicki

Brianna says that hopefully her husband will be home in October and that her husband will retire in 9 years. Then Vicki drops the bomb that he will sell insurance with Vicki whenever he retires.

5. Andy Addresses Ryan’s Volatile Behavior

Andy Cohen confronts Brianna about her husband Ryan’s behavior toward Lydia’s mother when he yelled and cursed at her for putting her feet up on Vicki Gunvalson’s couch. Brianna then refuses to talk about her husband who is overseas in Afghanistan because she feels it’s disrespectful. Lydia is not satisfied with this response at all, but the subject is dropped shortly after.

6. The Women Ask Vicki if Brooks Has Ever Hit Her

Vicki insists Brooks has never gotten physical, but daughter Briana starts motioning as if there’s more to the story.
Vicki threatens to walk off the stage if Brianna reveals any details about her ex Brooks’ unruly behavior. Vicki accidentally reveals that Brooks has been very disrespectful to her. The women then ask Vicki if Brooks has ever gotten physical with her. She insists he never has gotten physical with her.

7. Brianna Reveals the Truth About Brooks

Brooks talks about an email from 2007 where he told Vicki he loved her and this was while Vicki was married to Brianna’s step-father. He then apologizes for disrespecting Vicki in any way. Brianna is dissatisfied and brings up that Brooks told her husband Ryan to hit her in order to keep her in line. Then Brianna reveals she was abused as a child. The women are then devastated and one of the housewives, Lydia, becomes so upset to hear this that she begins to cry and walks off the set. A discussion is opened about the infamous drunk recording of Brooks and all Brooks can do is apologize. But, no one cares about his apologies, especially Brianna.

Strangely, Vicki refuses to listen to the recording of a drunken, abusive Brooks. Heather then asks Vicki if she won’t listen to the tape because then she’d be forced to be done with Brooks once and for all. All Vicki can respond with is tears.

8. Tamra Opens Up a New Can of Worms About Brooks’ Verbal Abuse

Brianna says she’s tried to stand up for her mother and it backfires. So, she says she has to just move on with her life. Tamra reveals that Brianna’s seen text messages from Brooks to her mother with words tearing her down. His texts have called her ugly, fat, and more. Brianna confirms this while Vicki and Brooks strictly deny it.

At the end of it all, Brianna says she loves her mom.

9. Vicki Compares Brooks to Slade

Vicki talks about how everyone hated Slade just as everyone hates Brooks. Gretchen understands the comparison to a point. Brianna completely disagrees on the comparison.

Before leaving, Brooks says he is ending his relationship with Vicki and that the decision is a mutual one.

Once Brooks exits the stage, Vicki breaks down crying and all the women rally around Vicki to comfort her. Brianna does not join the women to hug her mother.

10. The Women Announce Their Final Thoughts

Lydia confesses she feels like she’s been punched in the head. Alexis reveals she feels bad for certain people. Heather says she’s happy everything ended well. Tamra feels it’s been her best year and says that overall she loves everyone. Gretchen says she will also defend herself and is excited to be engaged. Vicki says she’s emotionally drained and she still stands strong that she was not in an abusive relationship with Brooks.
