1. Wickersham Will Basically be Replacing Cote de Pablo on NCIS
Just a few months ago, beloved Cote de Pablo left the NCIS cast and now it seems that the show has found a replacement, which will be Wickersham’s character, NSA Analyst Eleanor Bishop. According to NY Daily News:
CBS confirmed Monday that Emily Wickersham will join the show as a regular starting with the Nov. 19 episode.
2. Ellie Is Short for Eleanor Bishop
The character of Eleanor will be nicknamed Ellie and TV Guide has given a full report on Wickersham’s character:
She’ll play Eleanor “Ellie” Bishop, an NSA analyst who specializes in international threat assessment and global preparation. Her character will be introduced in the Nov. 19 episode, when Bishop is brought in to assist with the investigation after Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and co. learn that the Secretary of the Navy was bugged during a confidential briefing.
3. This Isn’t Wickersham’s First Big TV Show
Emily Wickersham has been on several big television shows including The Sopranos, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, and Gossip Girl. So, this isn’t Wickersham’s first time at the rodeo.
