Billy Joel was one of the legendary honorees at the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors. In a host of tribute performances, Rufus Wainwright, Brendon Urie of Panic at the Disco, Don Henley, and Garth Brooks each sang songs of Joel’s to pay homage to him. Tunes including “Big Shot”, “Piano Man”, “New York State of Mind”, and more all made it into the tributes. As Billy Joel watched the performance he showed several emotions, ranging from sheer joy to fighting back tears. Check out the performances below.
