It’s been speculated for days that Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are engaged. … The speculation is finally over as many sources have confirmed that the couple are indeed going to tie the knot. Check out the facts on the couple and their new engagement below:

Radar Online reports that a source close to Heard, who revealed:
Of course they couldn’t be happier to be engaged and excited to share the rest of their lives together.
The source also added that Amber Heard has already told “close friends.”
2. Depp & Heard First Met on the set of Their 2011 Movie, The Rum Diary

The two lovebirds met while filming The Rum Diary. In the meantime, Depp had a 14-year relationship with French actress Vanessa Paradis. He stated that it was never important to them to have that piece of paper, labeling them as a married couple, though they share two children toghether. Clearly, Depp doesn’t have the same feeling when it comes to Amber Heard.

On a side note, Depp supposedly escorted Heard to some of the after-parties that evening.
