U2 performed their Oscar-nominated song “Ordinary Love” from movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom tonight at the 2014 Oscars. Introduced by Brad Pitt, U2 took the stage, surrounded by giant and insanely bright lights. As the band performed, photos of Nelson Mandela flashed across the screen in the background. Towards the end of their performance, Bono got down on the floor and reached out over the edge of the stage towards the audience. Finally, he got back up and the music began to pick up as Bono gave us some of his signature dance moves, swaying back and forth.
