Over the weekend, Andrea Bocelli, 55, married Veronica Berti, 30, in an intimate ceremony at the Sanctuary of Montenero in the coastal town of Livorno, Italy. People confirms only a handful of guests were in attendance. Bocelli’s two teenage sons, Amos, 19, and Matteo, 16, and Bocelli’s first wife Enrica Cenzatti, with whom he split in 2002, were all present.
The bride wore an Ermanno Scervino double silk dress, while Bocelli donned a blue Corneliani suit.
E! Online gives further detail on the bride’s wedding attire:
The bride covered her shoulders with a quilted crepe de chine padded jacket. She pulled her hair back and added a sprig of flowers, which complemented her bouquet of white roses.

The couple have been together since Berti was just 18 years old and Veronica Berti is actually Bocelli’s manager. In the past, Bocelli has opened up about their relationship and plans to wed, telling the Daily Mail last year:
Naturally, when two people feel like we do, they want to make it a permanent arrangement. It will happen from the religious and spiritual point of view but it is a legal matter.
3. The Wedding Date Has Special Significance
The date of the wedding holds great significance to the newlyweds. According to People:
The Italian Tenor and his longtime companion said they chose their March 21 wedding date not only because it signified the start of spring, but because it’s also the date of their daughter Virginia’s second birthday.
This is the first marriage for Berti and the second for Bocelli.

5. Berti and Bocelli Introduced Their Daughter to the World in March 2012
In March 2012, Veronica Berti and Andrea Bocelli showed off their baby daughter Virginia. Have a look at the video footage above.
The Daily Mail reports:
The Italian tenor, 54, became a father for the third time last March. Exactly 12 months ago he was pictured leaving a hospital in Massa Carrara, Italy, after collecting the new arrival.
