Whoopi Goldberg appears to be the last woman standing as unexpected news hits the cast of The View. Barbara Walters only left the show about a month ago and ABC has already jumped on the other hosts, giving Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy the axe. NY Daily News writes:
Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy were let go, and while it was reported that executive producer Bill Geddie is also out, an insider said he’s negotiating a new contract and is expected to return.
