Jeff Goldblum’s fiancee, Emilie Livingston, may be much younger than him, but the two are crazy about each other. Goldblum proposed to Livingston while they were vacationing in Hawaii last week. She was ecstatic that he popped the question after just two years of dating, and announced the engagement on her Twitter page. Apart from being known as Jeff Goldblum’s girlfriend, the fit 31-year-old has had an illustrious career as a dancer and rhythmic gymnast.
Here’s what you need to know about her.
1. She’s 30 Years Younger Than Goldblum

Livingston’s age is not a problem for Goldblum, who’s known for dating younger women. The 61-year-old previously dated 26-year-old Lydia Hearst-Shaw in 2001 and 21-year-old Lost star Tania Raymonde in 2009. The Daily Mail quotes him:
When people meet Emilie, they say she’s magical and very sweet and they’re happy for me. … I’m happy as a clam with her. I feel lucky, lucky, lucky.

2. She Was an Olympic Rhythmic Gymnast
At age 2, Livingston began ballet and dance, and at 6 she began training in artistic gymnastics and ballet. By 10 years old, Livingston was chasing her Olympic dream– she moved to Novogorsk, Russia, to train with renowned rhythmic gymnastics coaches. Livingston has been a three-time national champion of Canada and qualified for the 2000 Sydney Olympic Games, where she earned 17th in the all-around at the XXVII Olympiad.
When boasting to the Daily Mail about his new fiancee, Goldblum said:
She was the Pan American champion for rhythmic gymnastics and then was on the Canadian Olympic team for rhythmic gymnastics in Sydney in 2000. Now she does Cirque du Soleil-type aerial things.

I don’t know how I survived it, but I am really glad I did. I think it made me a really strong and courageous person. One thing about the Russians, they have no mercy. I wasn’t around my family, there was no one there to coddle me but it helped bring my skill level up tremendously.
3. She’ll Be Goldblum’s Third Wife

Goldblum failed in his marriages to actress Patricia Gaul and his The Fly co-star Geena Davis, but he believes his relationship with Livingston is going to last.

4. She’s an Actress
Livingston’s IMDB page is full of credits, from The Adventures of Noah Sife Movie to Wandering Star. Most of these credits are related to her dancing abilities, but there are some short features in there as well.
Livingston’s Facebook page describes her as a Contortionist and Aerialist at Bloc Talent Agency who studied drama at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. As of 2013, she performed weekly as a contortionist and aerialist at a French bar at the intersection of Melrose and Gower in L.A.:

5. She Was in Justin Bieber’s Music Video for ‘Beauty and the Beat’
Along with performing in Justin Bieber’s music video, Livingston has showcased her talents alongside Taylor Swift and Jennifer Lopez at the Grammys.
She attributes her success to her years spent training in Russia. She told Neon Tommy:
For me, it was do it or go home [to Canada] and there’s no way I’m going home, so I’m happy I did it!
Livingston has appeared in many commercials for her dancing talents, including a Fruit of the Loom and Nikon ad.
