1. Olsen and Miller Started Dating Back in February
In January 2014, Olsen’s split with then boyfriend David Schulte became public. Just one month later, Olsen and Miller were introduced and began dating. However, just this past Sunday the two were spotted leaving Olsen’s apartment in New York City.
2. Miller Is the Director of Moneyball
Miller is the director of the film Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt, among many other critically-acclaimed movies, though his net worth isn’t anywhere near Olsen’s. Celebrity Net Worth reports Miller’s net worth to be $3 million, while Olsen’s is $150 million.
3. Both Miller and Olsen Were Seen Mourning at Philip Seymour Hoffman’s Funeral
When Philip Seymour Hoffman passed away in February 2014, Olsen and Miller were seen together at the funeral. Miller had worked with Hoffman on the 2005 movie Capote and the two had known each other since childhood. They were both graduates of the 1984 NYSSSA School of Theatre, along with writer Dan Futterman. It was actually at a summer theater camp called Saratoga Springs, where Miller first met Hoffman at age 16.

Though Miller and Olsen are said to have started dating in February, the two were spotted having dinner in West Hollywood in late January. Plus, the NY Daily News reports that Olsen spent time with Miller in Los Angeles while he was editing the film Foxcatcher.
5. He Used to Play Chess With Homeless People In the Park Instead of Going to School
Miller is a successful director, producer and cinematographer who actually started out as a comedian and actor. He grew up in the suburbs of New York City, and actually dropped out of NYU, spending more time playing chess with homeless people in the park rather than studying, according to Hollywood.com. Eventually, Miller got together enough money to make his first movie The Cruise.
