James Corden, an English comedian, will replace Craig Ferguson as host of The Late Late Show on CBS, reports The Wrap. According to the Guardian, “Corden is a natural performer, a self-confessed attention seeker.”

According to reports, Ferguson will leave the show in December 2014.

Here’s what you need to know:


1. He’s an Award Winning Actor

Corden first came to prominence as one of the stars of the hit English sitcom Gavin and Stacey. For his role in the show, Corden won a BAFTA.


2. Corden Has Many Critics

His talent is seriously divides critics. During his spell as host of the English Grammys, the Brits, Corden’s jokes were heavily criticized. You can watch his cringe inducing interview with One Direction above.


3. Corden Is Still Making Movies
