WWE SummerSlam 2014: The Results & Highlights You Need to Know

Winner: The new WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar!

Best Moments/Highlights: Lesnar and Cena immediately began tearing into each other. Out of nowhere, Lesnar caught Cena with an F5. Cena kicked out! Afterwards, Lesnar circled Cena while he was laid out. Lesnar then landed two German Suplexes on Cena just for extra measure. While Cena looked to recover, Lesnar struck him with a knee to the ribs. Lesnar picked up Cena for a quick Snap Suplex as Paul Heyman gleefully watched on. Cena soon recovered and began pummeling Lesnar into the corner of the ring, but Lesnar fought him off with another knee to the ribs. Lesnar locked Cena into a chinlock, but Cena fought back with elbows to Lesnar’s guts. Lesnar shook off Cena’s elbows and kneed him back down once again. Cena soon found his hand being stepped on by a towering Lesnar and then ended up on the end of several German Suplexes. Lesnar looked to pin Cena, but Cena kicked out. This move of course pissed of Lesnar, which forced him to stuff Cena with more knees to the ribs. Lesnar picked up Cena once again and German Suplexed him another time. Cena struggled to get back to his feet while the ref looked on. Once he got back up, Lesnar ragdolled him with another German Suplex. Lesnar went for another German Suplex, but Cena began fighting back with stiff elbow strikes. Lesnar picked Cena up for an F5 but Cena jumped out of it and hit his Attitude Adjustment on Lesnar for a 2-count. Lesnar got back up just like The Undertaker and smiled at a prone Cena in the corner of the ring. Cena ran right into Lesnar but he got put down with a takedown and some ground and pound punches. Lesnar powered Cena down with a slew of multiple German Suplexes afterwards. Lesnar circled Cena like a vulture about to finish his prey. Cena managed to hop back up, but he was met with even more German Suplexes. The ref almost counted Cena out, but Cena caught Lesnar with an STF out of nowhere. Lesnar easily swatted Cena off of him and landed some extra punches and another German Suplex. Lesnar ended the bout with a massive F5 for the championship win. Lesnar ended up delivering 16 suplexes to Cena.
