With Kendra On Top airing tonight, putting Kendra Wilkinson’s husband Hank Baskett’s alleged affair with a transsexual model on blast, fans are wondering if the couple is still together. Kendra Wilkinson is sticking by her man. On Wednesday night, a special sit-down interview between Giuliana Rancic and Wilkinson was aired on E!. Wilkinson opened up about Baskett’s sex scandal with transsexual model Ava Sabrina London and said she doesn’t know what to believe, but that it doesn’t matter. Wilkinson stated:
[Hank] deserves forgiveness. I’m willing to spend the rest of my life to figure this out rather than spending one night single without Hank in my life.
After London passed a polygraph test, it was believed that Wilkinson and Baskett were definitely headed for a split, but Wilkinson says:
I have to give the man I’ve loved for six years some sort of the benefit of the doubt, like who are we believing here? This – I’m sorry to say – piece of sh*t con-artist, like you expect me to believe this? … “I know for a fact Hank is not gay. He’s not into transsexuals.
And, the clincher in the interview with Wilkinson was when she said that she’ll stick by him whether he had the affair or not, telling Giuliana Rancic:
The last thing I want on my kids is a broken home. I want my two kids to be raised with both parents in their lives. I’m willing to forgive him even if he did it.
Wilkinson revealed that though she can promise forever right now, she wants to work things out with Hank. They are doing couples’ counseling in addition to Hank going to counseling on his own. Currently, Hank has his own apartment because Wilkinson said he still has work to do before she allows him back in her bed. Hank picks his son up from school and is still around the house taking care of his kids.
In addition to this interview, Wilkinson posted the following message on Twitter:
Just wanted to say thank you for all the support. This has been the most challenging 4 months of my life, and I’ve been focusing on being the best me I can be, for myself and for my babies. While some moments are sacred, fact is… I’ve lived my life in front of cameras for the last 10 years, so I chose to allow cameras to tell even the hard stories. I don’t think it’s fair or truthful to only show the good and not the bad. I don’t have all the answers, but like you, I’m a mother, a wife, a daughter and a woman, and struggles are a part of life and I am not afraid to admit that my life is not perfect. Thank you for the love… I’ve missed you all!
