Dierks Bentley is one of the biggest country music artists today and he’s already won the Best Music Video of the Year for his video “Drunk On a Plane.” So, who is the woman married to this sexy superstar? Read on for all the info on Cassidy Black, the wife of Dierks Bentley and the mother of his children.
1. Dierks Got Together With Cassidy After Dating Her Friend

Dierks has actually known his wife since they were very young, but they didn’t officially get together until he had become a country artist. She Knows writes:
Dierks Bentley’s love story with wife Cassidy Black began as little more than notes being passed back and forth during class when the two attended middle school together in Phoenix, Arizona. Dierks first came to know Cassidy when he (gasp!) dated her best friend, but he soon turned his attention to her. They dated sporadically over the years, but it never stuck due to his busy schedule and, according to Dierks, his immaturity. In February 2005, Caroline asked to come visit him on the road one more time, and Dierks says he just knew the minute he saw her walk onto his tour bus that he had to make her his wife.
2. She Eloped With Husband Dierks Bentley

Cassidy and Dierks eloped in Mexico on December 17, 2005. They enjoy the simple things together like going to the movies, playing Monopoly and drinking wine at home. Dierks also loves Cassidy’s cooking. Cassidy tells Country Weekly:
I’m not great, but I’m the one who does it! I cook a lot of salmon. I like to marinate it. But he’s good to cook for because I do it rarely enough that I get lots of good feedback! [like] ‘This could be in a restaurant!’ Now that we have a baby breakfast is gonna be my thing. I don’t know if dinner is realistic with his lifestyle [In addition to his recording and touring, Dierks plays nights on an amateur hockey team called the Ice Holes when he’s in town!]. But I want to get good at breakfast.
3. Their Home Is In the Shape of a Triangle

In 2009, Dierks and wife Cassidy gave an interview to Country Weekly and were talking about their home, which Cassidy called “a slice of pie” because it’s in the shape of a triangle. Dierks laughed:
It’s a pie in the sky, with a juvenile detention center motif … I tell you what’s the key to this whole house, and why I’ve always loved it. It’s the quality of life. I can walk to my management company from here. I can walk to the studios where I do most of my work.
He continues:
And when I’m gone, Cass can walk across the street to [a coffee and sandwich shop]. She can take Evie to the post office, they can go to the dry cleaners. She’s got friends nearby and she’s able to be around spontaneous happenings, as opposed to being stuck out in the middle of nowhere. I’m right here in the middle of my career, but I can walk in this door and escape it. It’s home.
4. Cassidy Ran the Boston Marathon In April 2014

Dierks Bentley is married to a fit woman. Cassidy actually ran in the 2014 Boston Marathon and her husband was there to support her. Taste of Country reported:
Bentley’s wife, Cassidy prepared for the marathon while Bentley took a flight from Nashville to Boston to be there (at mile 17, to be exact) to show support for the love of his life. He shared on his Twitter that the flight was “full of runners” and that there was a “vibe of something special in the air!” One fan asked Bentley if he’d be running alongside his wife. The ‘Bourbon in Kentucky’ singer replied “HA! Hell no. I’ll be one of the million w/ a sign! shouting … and drinking!”
Cassidy finished in 3:33:38, which is good for an 8-minute mile pace.

5. The Couple Has Three Kids Together

When Dierks Bentley used to be on the road, before he was married, he couldn’t quite grasp how anxious all the married guys on tour couldn’t wait to get back to their families. Now that he has a beautiful wife and three kids, he reveals:
By the time I get home, I can’t wait to walk through this door. Even though our house isn’t some crazy, big thing, it feels like home. I walk through this door and it’s like, ‘Wow, I’m home with my two boys and two girls.’ They’re right here.
Cassidy and Dierks’ children are Knox, Evie, and Jordan, two girls and a boy.
