The couple married in 2011 in a small wedding. Us Weekly reported:

The couple wed in a small ceremony in Tennessee in front of their close family and friends, including Sugarland’s Kristian Bush … Nettles stunned in an Alexander McQueen gown.

The wedding took place near the Smoky Mountains at Blackberry Farms.

On June 18, 2012, Nettles and Miller announced they were expecting their first child together. In December 2012, the couple had their new baby, son Magnus Hamilton Miller with them. The statement they released together was this:
