On tonight’s episode of The Bachelor, we say goodbye to Kaitlyn Bristowe and it was a tearful goodbye at that. Both Soules and Bristowe felt confused about the situation and each other them parted ways in tears. Over the course of the season, Bristowe has had a little trouble opening up to Chris Soules, but on the hometown dates episode, Bristowe shows Soules a big “sign” of her love — a billboard that has her name and Soules’ with a heart in between. Soules said he appreciated this because when he was on The Bachelorette, he made a similar move to show Andi Dorfman he cared about her, though he wasn’t completely ready to use the “L-word” just yet. Tonight, Bristowe and Soules have a fun date in Bali, playing with monkeys on the street and the rumor is that they have sex in the fantasy suite. But of course, no one can know that for sure.
At the rose ceremony, Soules stops everything to speak with one of the contestants, but it looks like it’s Becca Tilley. They had some unfinished business to talk about in terms of a future together, but Soules did admit that he’s falling in love with her. And, so, the two worked it out and Tilley was not sent home. Bristowe was. Classicalite reports that Soules cared for Bristowe but ultimately felt she wasn’t right for his farming lifestyle. A source told the site:
She was blindsides…One minute she was sure he was madly in love with her, and the next, she was going home … He was scared she wouldn’t adapt to his lifestyle … So instead of following his heart, he went with the girls he knew would stay by his side.
