According to Forbes, she earned an estimated $40 million in 2014. According to Celebrity Net Worth, she is worth $130 million.

There were early reports that the NFL was asking artists to pay to perform at the Halftime Show. As far as her payment or non payment goes, she told the Associated Press, “I put my foot down very early in the courtship. I said, ‘Look guys, here’s where I draw a line in the sand.’ I want to be invited on my own merits and not with some fine print.” She also told ESPN’s College GameDay, “I have let them know that I’m not the kind of girl who would pay to play the Super Bowl. The ball is in their field.”
