Britt Nilsson has been one of the most talked about contestants on the 2015 season of The Bachelor. She and Chris Soules shared an instant connection that began with the first impression rose and first kiss of the season. As the episodes carried on, Nilsson seemed to capture Soules in a love spell and was criticized as being manipulative by both viewers and fellow contestants. On The Bachelor: Women Tell All episode, Britt sat down with host Chris Harrison to talk about her time on the show and broke down in tears. She said that she couldn’t win no matter what she did. She either liked Soules too much or not enough or some thought she was on the show just for the cameras. One cast member who came to her defense in full force was Jillian Anderson. Aside from that, Britt attempted to defend herself through her tears.

When Soules eliminated Britt, he wrote about it in his blog, stating:

Britt’s over-the-topness wasn’t fully sincere. It started to feel like she was putting on a performance. And the girls’ comments supported that … we did have such a strong connection right off the bat. But truthfully, now I question all of that. Early on I thought she, and our connection, was too good to be true. Turns out it was.

As far as what host Chris Harrison had to say, he thinks Britt is still in love with Soules, explaining:

Britt was the star of the show and is still, I think, in love with the guy. It was brutal. She leaned in on Carly [because she] felt if things had been different, if the girls hadn’t sabotaged her, she and Chris would’ve ended up together.
