Harold is from Sauk Village, Illinois and began talking to a girl who went by the name of Armani Brown online. The first online encounter was in his freshman year of high school and he believes he’s fallen in love with her since. When Harold first started talking to “Armani”, she said she was pregnant with a baby boy.

When doing a little digging, host Nev Schulman locates a few profiles of girls who are supposedly friends with Armani (Deshyla, Babay and Tamila). Nev speaks with a girl named Deshyla who seems to confirm Armani’s story. When Nev finally got in touch with Armani, she was hesitant to meet up because she didn’t want anything to change between herself and Harold.

2. Angel Haze Is the Guest Detective on this Episode

With Max Joseph away directing a Zac Efron film, guest detectives have been filling in for him and this week, Angel Haze is the guest star. Angel Haze is a rapper and singer from Detroit who grew up in the Greater Apostolic Faith, which is often looked at as a cult. Haze had a rough upbringing, reportedly being raped at the age of 7 years old. Haze describes herself pansexual and agender. 3. Armani Brown Was Actually Tamila

Armani Brown told Harold that she also lives in Illinois and works at a school as a janitor. Unfortunately, the town she says she lives in is about four and a half hours away from Harold, so they have never gotten together. He also says that she never wants to Skype and that she’s full of excuses. When Harold does finally meet “Armani,” a girl named “Babay” comes out with bright red dyed hair to tell them that Armani’s very nervous. Armani finally comes out and it’s actually a woman named Tamila. Tamila acted like the situation was a joke and then appeared to ask Harold if he wanted a blow job.

When Tamila and Harold met up again the next day, Tamila was a lot softer and more serious, feeling bad about the situation.

Harold’s current Facebook status is that he’s single and he also has a lot of “Woman Crush Wednesday” posts on his Twitter.


4. When Harold Met a Girl at School, He Lost Touch With Armani

Harold got into a relationship with a girl at his school and said he didn’t feel it was right to keep in contact with Armani, so the two lost touch. The relationship didn’t work out and he said that he’s had other girlfriends, but none of them understood him the way that Armani seemed to. In turn, the two got back in touch and they talk every day both online and on the phone.


5. Armani Dated One of the Guys on Harold’s Basketball Team

Harold had said that he didn’t believe Armani was fake because she had dated one of the guys on his high school basketball team. His friend’s name was Malcolm. Bloom Trail High School was where Harold and Malcolm went to school and now Harold is a college student at Southern Illinois University Carbondale. Harold said it was hard to focus on school because of all the gun violence around him. He was actually shot at before and lost 7 friends from his hometown over the summer before taping Catfish.
