On tonight's Bates Motel ... Bradley Martin returns to White Pine Bay and tells Norman she doesn't want to be "dead" anymore. (For more information on the actress who plays Bradley, Nicola Peltz, click here.) She wants to be home. Life on the road was too hard for her. Meanwhile, Norma goes to meet the enemy Bob Paris at his home and she tells him that she will give him the flash drive. She tells Bob that the story about her son killing his father was not true, though Bob says that it was an "interesting" story and says he hired a private investigator. Bob says giving him the flash drive would be in her best interest, but that she doesn't call the shots anymore. Bob says that Romero may beat her to it, saying that he believes he showed Romero the light. He also warns her to not slip and fall into her pool (the huge hole he had dug on her property).
Caleb confronts Chick about the deal that went wrong and almost got Dylan killed. When Chick appears to understand Caleb's side, things go a little crazy and Chick pulls a gun on Caleb. Caleb and Chick get into a bloody fist-fight and Caleb warns Chick to stay away from Dylan.
Norman helps Bradley hide her car and tells her she can sleep at the motel. Bradley asks Norman to help her let her mother know that she's not actually dead. In the meantime, Norma confronts Romero at the police station and he refuses to give her the flash drive. He says he's taking care of the situation, she's out of it and that he's done talking to her about anything.
Caleb reveals to Dylan that he took $50,000 from Chick and that he has to leave town for a little while. He tells Dylan to stay back at the house for a while for safety reasons.
Norman goes home and becomes upset when he sees his mother getting rid of all his taxidermy tools and creations. Norma tells Norman that the case of his father's death may be reopened and that she wouldn't want him to look bad. Norman tells his mother that the only person who will look bad is her. He says that he will always love his mother, but she's the one who does so many wrong things and it makes him wonder if it may have been her who killed his father, though she says it was him. Norma sends Norman to his room.
When Bradley is parked outside her mother's home, she sees that her mom has moved on with another man. She and Norman then go inside the house after her mother has gone. Bradley says the inside of the house looks different, as if she never even lived there. Even Bradley's room has been transformed - into an indoor gym. Bradley feels lonely and forgotten.
A Special Agent Liz Babbitt visits Romero about the flash drive and it's revealed that Romero's mother is on the flash drive. Romero also confesses his father, who was once the sheriff, had started the pot ring in town. Babbitt tells Romero that she finds it difficult to believe that he has been unaware of the illegal activities that have gone on in the town.
Dylan visits Emma's father at their home without telling Emma and gives him the money so that Emma can have an operation to further her life span. Dylan gives him $50,000 to move Emma's name up on the transplant list and insists that her father never tell her where the money came from. He then visits Emma, who was sleeping in her bed. Dylan tells her that Caleb had to leave the farm for a little while for business reasons. Emma says she understands he will miss him, revealing that Norman told her that Caleb was Dylan's father. Emma shows she has no judgment against Dylan.
Norman confesses to Bradley that there's something wrong with him and then he leaves her to go home, providing no explanation. Later on that night, Norma is in Romero's house, going through his things to find the flash drive, when he catches her. Romero tells Norma he turned over the flash drive to the DEA. Norma exclaims, "How could you do that to me?!" Romero begs Norma to tell him the truth. She first tries to claim that she killed her husband and then breaks down, begging for him to not make her say that Norman killed him. The two end up almost kissing, but then Norma whispers to Romero not to touch her and she leaves crying.
When Norma gets home, she desperately tries to fill up the hole Paris has dug. Caleb then shows up and gives Norma a guitar to give to Dylan. He tells her that he's leaving and that he's not going to say goodbye to Dylan. Caleb then confesses to Norma that Norman once came to him and told him how angry he was that Caleb raped him. Caleb realized that Norman thought he was actually his mother. He tells her that Norman will hurt someone and that he hopes it's not her.
Bradley tells Norman that she's decided to leave White Pine Bay again and asks Norman if he'd like to go with her. He says he can't go with her because something's wrong with him and because his mother would be upset. Bradley then takes what she says is a sleeping pill as Norman opens up to her about his blackouts. Bradley then tells Norman how stupid she was for not reciprocating his feelings when he told her he loved her. She then kisses him and they begin to get physical, but Norman can't get his mother out of his head. Norman freaks out and leaves, though Bradley begs him not to go. Outside the room, Norman has a hallucination which involves a conversation with his mother, where she tells him not to consort with Bradley anymore.
Next week's episode is titled "Unconscious" and the official synopsis reads: Norman's issues push Norma to the breaking point; Emma has an unexpected reaction to good news; Romero picks a side and seals his fate in the town; Caleb's decision brings about major life changes.
