Bill Murray sent the Late Show with David Letterman a sweet send off when he popped out of a cake for the late night host’s second-to-last show.
He then wandered into the crowd and mingled with audience members before returning to the stage where Dave interviewed him one last time. Murray was the first guest for Dave when he started the show on August 30, 1993.
Stephen Colbert is poised to take over for him. Dave’s final show is tonight.
