‘The Voice’ 2015: Joshua Davis – Team Adam Levine 5/4/15

Joshua Davis is the only contestant left on Team Adam Levine from The Voice 2015 and he is very thankful for the fans he’s had. Today, Davis posted the following heartfelt message on Facebook, addressing his voters:

Happy show day!!! So excited for tonight. Thank you all for the love and support.

Davis calls his fan base Davis Nation and now he even has his own line of trendy t-shirts, which you can check out by clicking here. They are $25.00 each and read “#DAVISNATION RISE.” People really like Davis not only for his talent, but also because he’s a humble family man. In an interview with the Lansing State Journal, Davis stated:

At this point, the only thing I have is being genuine and being what I’ve crafted as my sound the past 15 years. I can’t do the runs and crazy range stuff, but I can do what I do, and that seems to be working and something that resonates with people.

Davis also opened up about his relationship with his coach Adam Levine and explained why they get along so well:

We both grew up in bands. He’s been the in same band (Maroon 5) for as long as I’ve been in Steppin’ in It. I think that even though he’s in the pop realm, we share a lot of musical tastes. He has a serious mind. He’s restless. He never sits still. He always wants to learn. He really knows his stuff when he comes to music. He has an incredible knowledge of theory and the way arranging should work. We speak the same language.

As far as how Davis feels about his fellow competitors, he joked that Sawyer Fredericks from Team Pharrell Williams is a little “creepy,” explaining that:

He’s a little dude and he gets around and sometimes you don’t always notice where he is. And all of a sudden he’s behind you and it’s kind of creepy. Once I was outside practicing and I turned around and Sawyer was there wearing a white robe. It was like a Jedi move.
