1. Ben Higgins Does Not Win The Bachelorette
Ben Higgins is not the winner of the 2015 season of The Bachelorette. In fact, there is no winner, according to Bachelorette guru Reality Steve, who says that Kaitlyn Bristowe decides to leave the show as a single woman. Though Higgins makes it very far in the competition, the final two end up being contestants Nick Viall and Shawn Booth.
2. His First Solo Date With Kaitlyn Bristowe Was On Episode 6
On episode 6 of the season, Ben Higgins gets a solo date with Kaitlyn Bristowe in Texas, where they participate in a two-stepping dance competition. They don’t do too well in the competition, but they have a pleasant date and Higgins gets a rose. Watch a video clip from the date above.
3. Higgins Works As a Business Analyst

Ben Higgins is a business analyst for a company called Talisys. On Higgins’ LinkedIn profile, he describes his position as this:
As a Business Analyst my responsibilities are to elicit, evaluate and document business user requirements with a focus on tax reporting, ACATS, and commission based sales. Present and facilitate client discussions for user groups, requirement reviews and demos. Work as a business-knowledge contact point for engineers developing the product. Develop test plans, oversee the testing team and actively test the product.
According to his LinkedIn account, he graduated from Indiana University in 2012 with a B.S. in Business Administration.

Higgins is a Christian and his faith is important to him. He used to work at Warsaw Community Church and he has one tattoo, which is related to his religion. It’s a quote from the Bible–Old Testament Proverbs 16:3 that reads: Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. OKHereIsTheSituation reports that while he was in college, he was the Director of Faith Based Affairs International Volunteer Head Quarters Volunteer in Cuzco, Peru.
