So we were lucky enough to check out the latest film featuring those ravenous dinos we love so much – Jurassic World.
We had a great time watching Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson and the rest of the park residents run for their lives. Mixing a bunch of different dinosaur and animal genes to create a new terrifying one led to horrific (entertaining?) results. As far as summer blockbusters go, Jurassic World happens to be one of the most fun films we’ve seen in 2015. When will people learn that a them park full of genetically modified dinosaurs is far from safe?
While enjoying ourselves watching it, we lifted a few memorable lines from the film. Here’s our selection of the best quotes we heard during our time being entertained with Jurassic World.
– This funny explanation of dinosaurs and their natural nature in the wild was told to Claire:
Owen: These animals are thinking: I gotta eat. I gotta hunt. I gotta…You gotta be able to relate to at least one of those things.
Claire: Corporate felt genetic modification would up the “wow” factor.
Owen: They’re dinosaurs, wow enough.
– This fear inducing convo took place when Claire brought Own to the cage keeping the Indominus Rex in captivity:
Owen: What happened to the sibling?
Claire: She ate it.
Vic: You’ve got 20,000 people. They’ve got no where to go. You got no more boats. You don’t have enough guns.
– Owen and Claire went into the forest area of the park to find the Indominus Rex. The came upon her tracking implant, which led to all these words being said:
Claire: What is that?
Owen: Her tracking implant, she clawed it out.
Claire: How would it know to do that?
Owen: She remembered where they put it in.
Claire: We have learned more in the past year from genetics, than a century of digging up bones! A whole new frontier has opened up! We have our first genetically modified hybrid!
Owen: You just went and made a new dinosaur? Probably not a good idea.
– Owen and Claire came upon a clearing full of dead dinosaurs who had just been clawed to death by the Indominus Rex:
Claire: Oh god!
Owen: She’s killing for sport.
Claire: We’re talking about an animal here.
Owen: A highly intelligent animal.
Gray: Can we stay with you?
Claire: I am never leaving you again!
