On tonight’s episode of The Bachelorette, get ready for some insane drama, especially when a contestant from the past shows up … and he actually gets to join the cast. The official synopsis for tonight reads: Kaitlyn confronts Clint about his behavior; Kaitlyn and the men travel to New York, where the bachelors participate in a rap battle group date, a Broadway competition and a date at the Metropolitan Museum. Read on for all the biggest spoilers from episode 4 of the season below.

Nick Viall Returns

Nick Viall, the runner-up from Andi Dorfman’s season joins the contestants, which the guys are not happy about. According to Bachelorette guru Reality Steve, they even take some of the clothes out of his suitcase and get them all wet as a hateful gesture. So, how did Nick get on the show? Nick and Kaitlyn were actually texting back and forth before the show, but Nick comes aboard after a rap battle group date. Kaitlyn tells the guys that someone else wants to be on the show and they are against it, but that doesn’t stop Kaitlyn from having a makeout session with Nick. Reality Steve gives some background on Kaitlyn and Nick’s relationship before the show, explaining:

Kaitlyn and Nick talked ALL THE TIME while Chris’ season was airing. He made it known he was into her, and she was well aware he was into her. Their relationship was much more than a few texts and emails. These two were Facetiming a lot in the weeks leading up to her leaving for the “Bachelorette.” Now, did Kaitlyn absolutely know Nick was gonna be on her season? That I don’t know. But I’m sure she had an idea he was going to be.

In most of these scenarios, the former contestant trying to return is rejected, but this time, it’s not the case. Nick Viall is here to stay and spoilers reveal that he makes it to the final two.

Jared Haibon Gets the Solo Date

Tonight’s solo date goes to Jared Haibon, the sweetheart who ended up with almost a concussion after the boxing date. For his one-on-one date with Kaitlyn, they reportedly go on a helicopter ride over Manhattan and end up at the MET Museum. It was a black-tie kind of evening.

Chris & Justin Get the Group Date Roses

There are two group dates tonight and the first is a rap battle … Kaitlyn’s favorite. With special guest Doug E. Fresh, Shawn B., Corey, Ryan B., Justin, JJ, Tanner, Ben Z., and Jonathan each have to battle it out and the crowd chooses a winner. According to Reality Steve, the battles are Shawn Booth vs Justin, Corey Stansell vs JJ, Jonathan vs Ryan Beckett, and Tanner vs Ben Zorn. Justin Reich gets the group date rose from the Rap Battle. Group date number two is a Broadway date with “Aladdin”, along with contestants Ben H., Chris, Joshua, Joe, and Ian. Chris apparently wins and gets to be in the show with Kaitlyn later that night.

There’s An Elimination In the Beginning of the Show

Last week’s episode ended with Clint’s fate undetermined. Reality Steve reports that Clint gets sent home at the beginning of tonight’s episode, so his dreams of staying on the show simply to be with contestant JJ Lane are crushed. And, when JJ calls his friend out in front of the other contestants, this means the end of their friendship. At the end of the night, the other contestants who get sent home are Corey Stansell, Jonathan Holloway, and Ryan Beckett.

Next Week’s Episode Leads to More Eliminations

Here’s a little glimpse into next week’s episode … Nick Viall gets one of the group date roses. Ben H. and Shawn Booth each get one of the solo dates. Three guys are eliminated, and one eliminates himself before the rose ceremony – Ian Thomson. He just doesn’t think that Kaitlyn is the right woman for him.
