Steven Irwin’s daughter Bindi has been announced on Good Morning America as the first contestant to be on Dancing With the Stars. The adventurer is used to wearing khaki and boots, so glitz and heels will be a big change for her. She admits that she’s more terrified of the judges and the ballroom than wrestling alligators and hopes for an understanding prop partner. Irwin stated on GMA:

Bindi Irwin was only 8-years-old when her legendary father died in a stingray attack off the coast of Australia. She now lives with her mother, Teri, and her younger brother, Robert, on the grounds of the Australia Zoo, which they own.
Irwin is just 17 years old.
Dancing With the Stars premieres on September 14, 2015. And, on September 2, 2015, more celebrities will be revealed.
