Bindi Irwin is paired with Dancing With The Stars pro hottie Derek Hough on the show, but she only has eyes for her boyfriend, professional wakeboarder Chandler Powell. Powell has flown to Los Angeles to support his girl as she is killing it on DWTS. In the above Instagram photo, Bindi posted this sweet caption about him:
He’s here. Thank you for always making me laugh, helping me to ice my foot when it hurts, making me tea and hugging me when I’m tired. You’re amazing.
According to Yahoo TV, Irwin and Powell met in 2013 and he lives in Florida. In addition, he is a global ambassador of her Wildlife Warriors team. Irwin gushed about her 18-year-old man to Entertainment Tonight saying that:
There is someone special in my life right now, and I’m really happy with that. Life is wonderful at the moment.
On tonight’s episode of DWTS, Irwin is dancing to the theme song from The Jeffersons and she’s battling an injury. Pro partner Derek Hough revealed to E! News:
Bindi is in a lot of pain, her foot’s hurting her. Even though she’s not telling me, I can see it in her eyes.
