Sitting down for an interview with U.K.’s talk show host Lorraine Kelly, One Direction’s Harry Styles, 21, and Niall Horan, 22, didn’t mince their words when the topic of former-bandmate Zayn Malik, 22, came up in discussion. It seems like the boys quite fancy life as a quartet. (Btw, did you see 1D’s new video for Perfect? It JUST came out! Check it out here. It’s awesome! You HAVE to see Harry’s hair in it!)
According to Styles, there is “less jostling…[and] more room for frolicking,” ever since Malik left the super boy-band six months ago.

“I did try to do something that I wasn’t happy doing for a while, for the sake of maybe other people’s happiness—and that was mainly the fans,” Malik had told The Sun when asked why he left the group. “And I only ever tried to do it for the fans, and it was only ever for them. And, basically, I’m only upset I feel like I may have let them down in some sort of way.”
