Just a few months after breaking up with his long-term South African girlfriend, The Daily Show host Trevor Noah is back in the game. The 31-year-old comedian is now dating Los Angeles native Jordyn Taylor. He introduced her to his colleagues at the Comedy Central show during his premiere party on October 22. The couple are living together in Noah’s Upper West Side apartment in Manhattan.

1. Taylor Signed a Record Deal When She Was 15

According to her Facebook page, Taylor, an LA native, signed a record deal with Manta Productions at the age of 15. She became a star through her now largely-defunct MySpace page. In total, she garnered 52 million plays on the social media site. Arguably the highpoint of her career came when one of her sons, “Accessory,” appeared on the movie soundtrack for Confessions of a Shopaholic.. In January 2014, she wrote an extensive blog post declaring that she was ceasing her recording career.
2. She Now Works as a Model for Auto Shows

US Weekly, the magazine that broke the news that Noah and Taylor were dating, notes that she works as an auto show model. On her Facebook page, Taylor says that she’s signed to L.A. Models/L.A. Talent. Earlier in October, she posted a series of photos showing her at the State Fair of Texas.
3. Noah Broke Up With His Long-Term South African Girlfriend Just After His Move to NYC

In April 2015, Trevor Noah split from his long-term girlfriend Dani Gabriel. This came four months after he move to New York City to join The Daily Show team. She works as a physiotherapist in Cape Town, South Africa, where she has her own business, according to her LinkedIn page. She was unwilling to leave South Africa, reported the Daily Mail.
4. She’s Been to South Africa to Visit His Family

In July 2015, Noah took Taylor to Johannesburg, South Africa, to visit his family, reports US Weekly. During that time, both posted about their adventures in the rainbow nation on Instagram. On October 15, she tweeted a photo of Noah with Jack Black, writing “Man crush everyday. Oh, and @Trevornoah.”

5. Since Taking Over Replacing Jon Stewart, Trevor Noah Has Vowed to Continue the ‘War on Bulls**t’
Trevor Noah took over from Jon Stewart on The Daily Show on September 29, the New York Times responded to his first show as saying that “Noah Kept Daily Show in Debut.” Reviews for the South African’s performances have been solid so far. During his first show, Noah told the nation “Before we start I just want to say a few things. This is surreal for me. I’m not going to lie, growing up in the dusty streets of South Africa I never dreamed that one day I would have, well, two things really: an indoor toilet and a job as host of The Daily Show. And now I have both. I’m quite comfortable with one of them.”
