The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade of 2015 airs this morning and we’ve got all the details on what channel to watch, what time it starts and more. This year, there are over 10,000 people participating in the event and there are several new floats from the Kentucky Fried Chicken float to Snoopy’s Doghouse. The occasion is filled with marching bands, Broadway acts, performance groups and A-list performers. Mariah Carey, Train, Jordin Sparks, and Andy Grammer are just a few of the many singers scheduled to perform at the event of the season.

LOCATION: Time Out reports the route for the parade as this: There are three recommended stretches or spots on the route for watching the parade: the first leg along Central Park West, Time Warner Center and, finally, along Sixth Avenue between Central Park South and 38th Street. The section from 38th Street to Herald Square and Macy’s department store is the telecast area and closed to the public. While there is limited space for viewing along the south side of 34th Street between Broadway and Seventh Avenue, the sight lines are seriously compromised by cameras, lights and scaffolding.
