Tonight was the semi-finals of Dancing With the Stars season 21 with Carlos PenaVega, Nick Carter, Bindi Irwin and Alek Skarlatos as contestants. So, who was eliminated tonight? No one.
The episode was filled with three dances each – an individual routine, a trio performance and a dance-off. For the trio dances, Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold teamed up with Emma Slater; Karina Smirnoff was matched with Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson; Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess danced with Peta Murgatroyd; and Bindi Irwin added Mark Ballas to her duo with Derek Hough. Contestant Tamar Braxton was announced as having to quit the show because multiple blood clots were found on both of her lungs, so she is still recovering in the hospital. Her pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy was on hand to send his well wishes and give a farewell for his brave teammate.
So, because Tamar Braxton quit the show, no one was eliminated tonight. However, there were two couples in the bottom and they were both a bit of a surprise – Bindi with Derek and Nick with Sharna. So, remember to cast your votes!
