After weeks of rumors and “when will this actually happen” moments, Dr. Light has finally arrived and things won’t ever be the same.
The metahuman finds her way to Earth-One through one of the 52 breaches that connect with Earht-Two in Tuesday night’s brand-new episode of The Flash, titled “The Darkness and the Light.” It’s an appearance that fans of the comic book hit have been waiting for since August when it was first reported that the character would be making an appearance this season.
But things have been kept under such tight wraps that until recently, the show hadn’t even announced the actress who was playing the role. That’s where this trailer comes in. A preview clip from Australia shows that Dr. Light is none other than Linda Park (Malese Jow) – Barry’s (Grant Gustin) former love interest and Iris’ (Candice Patton) Central City Picture News colleague. So what will Dr. Light’s appearance do for the S.T.A.R. Labs team? Well, it won’t be easy.
Earth-Two Linda, unlike other travelers from the parallel universe, isn’t coming to Earth-One to face off against The Flash. Instead, she’s here to face off against herself. Talk about some serious drama.
And don’t forget about the rest of the storylines going on. There’s some real-world romance to deal with as well as Barry and Patty (Shantel VanSanten) go out on a date. All together now, awwww.
