The Young and the Restless returns on Tuesday with Genoa City friction at its max. Adam (Justin Hartley) puts forth a risky offer to Luca (Miles Gastion Villanueva) while Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) continues being at odds with Jack (Peter Bergman).

Jack & Phyllis Continue Bickering

After canceling a press conference to save Phyllis the embarrassment, one would think that would bring her closer to Jack. However, such wasn’t the case as Jack’s resentment towards brother Billy (Burgess Jenkins) overrode any of that. Phyllis continued defending the down-and-out Billy to her husband while he repeatedly resisted and lashed out. After numerous attempts, Phyllis finally got Jack to cut Billy — who’s pulled himself out of the gutter since — some personal slack.
On Tuesday, the bickering between Jack and Phyllis will restart, according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
Between the Billy tiff and Jabot’s $500 million loss, Phyllis feels discouraged about everything her and Jack are going through. Phyllis vents to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) about their relationship woes. The former goes on to say that Jack isn’t the person she thought he was.
Adam Makes Luca a Surprising Offer

Meanwhile, Newman Enterprises continues trying to disassociate themselves with the Santoris — led by Luca — who refuse to part ways with them. In prior episodes, Victor (Eric Braeden) has repeatedly tried to steer Luca away from his business to no avail.
On Tuesday, Adam takes a different approach: He makes Luca a risky offer that has them working together. The deal could go either “horribly wrong,” or have them “at the top of the food chain,” according to Celeb Dirty Laundry.
