Days of Our Lives is back on Friday with an all-new episode as Joey (James Lastovic) realizes what he’s in for when he gets tipped off on Ava’s (Tamara Braun) latest plan of deception. Amid the trouble, Joey’s reaction has deadly consequences for Ava.

Steve Tries Taking the Fall for Joey’s Murder

Joey came to the conclusion that there was only one way to assure that Ava was gone for good. In Friday’s installment, Steve (Stephen Nichols) — upon arriving at the hospital — finds Joey suffocated Ava with a pillow. However, he’s too late as Joey ultimately kills her. Steve informs Joey that he should go home and let him take care of the rest. Steve tries taking the fall for Ava’s death, but Joey’s blood from the beer bottle cut he received at the Rave is found on Ava’s pillow.
Steve’s bogus confession has Roman (Josh Taylor) suspicious as the former attempts to explain that Joey entered the room while he committed the murder. Roman senses that the story is false but Steve’s determined to take the punishment to save his son.
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on February 25, “someone will secretly be on Steve’s side. He or she may pull some strings and get Steve off the hook.”
Hope May Have Killed the Wrong Person

Also, Rafe (Galen Gering) tells Chad (Billy Flynn) some surprising news about Andre (Thaao Penghlis). It appears that there’s evidence against Andre pertaining to his incarceration. In lieu of this, Chad — who feels that his brother committed the crime — is forced to come to terms with the truth. Stefano’s (Joseph Mascolo) body has reportedly “been identified,” stated the site.
Meanwhile, Rafe and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) strategy seems to be going as planned until she receives an unknown phone call that’ll change all that. “There’s a good chance someone will inform Hope that she killed the wrong guy,” according to the site.
