The Young and the Restless returns on Friday as Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and Jack (Peter Bergman) appear headed to splitsville. Phyllis isn’t too thrilled that Jack told Neil (Kristoff St. John) the truth about Marco Annicelli (Peter Bergman). Could this lead to something more with Billy (Jason Thompson)? While nothing has been confirmed yet, the two continue to confide in each other amid their disdain for Victor (Eric Braeden).

Billy Could Become ‘Something More’ to Phyllis

Jack inadvertently checked himself into Phyllis’s doghouse when he came clean that he informed Neil about the Marco fiasco. Adding insult to injury, Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) overheard the news and vowed that to teach Victor a lesson. However, Phyllis — in tears — was so outraged that she told Jack to leave Crimson Lights.
On Friday, Jack tries giving Phyllis a bouquet of flowers as a peace offering. Unfortunately for Jack, she throws them in the garbage. According to Celeb Dirty Laundry on February 25, Billy “will support Phyllis through the tough moments ahead. This friendship could easily turn into something more.”

Furthermore, Phyllis was the only person in Billy’s corner prior to his near-fatal accident. Although they haven’t been intimate, the two share a deep bond as Phyllis has continually accepted Billy at his lowest points.
At the moment, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) isn’t aware that Billy — yet again — is trying to take down her father. When he isn’t home with Victoria, he’s been scheming with Phyllis and Natalie (Mara McCaffrey). Once Billy and Phyllis’s master plan’s exposed, this will undoubtedly lead to some extreme turmoil once she finds out that he broke her trust again.
Will Phyllis forgive Jack for opening his mouth to Neil, or is it too little, too late for him? Also, what will Victoria’s reaction be if/when she finds out that Billy’s up to his usual antics again? Stay tuned.
