Tonight, each of the top 4 contestant on American Idol were able to perform with the finale one week away, but we had to say goodbye to one of them. And, tonight, MacKenzie Bourg was voted off the show.

First announced as making it through was Trent Harmon, followed by a surprised Dalton Rapattoni. This left Porsha La’Renae and MacKenzie Bourg in the bottom two. Joking, Bourg told host Ryan Seacrest, “I can tell you right now who it is.” Seacrest took control and then read the results. The crowd then watched a goodbye package on Bourg, who made sure to tell the audience how honored he was to share his original music with the nation on American Idol.

Ryan Seacrest then talked about what a great guy Bourg is as he exited the stage.
