When Is the SXSW 2016 Music Festival?

SXSW is in full swing and the schedule is: SXSW Interactive from March 11–15th, Film from March 11–19th, and Music from March 15–20th. Hundreds of artists have been announced to participate in the festival and you can check them all out in alphabetical order by clicking here for the official site. This music festival collects talents from around the globe to perform as a promotional platform for themselves.

So, what does SXSW even mean? It stands for South by Southwest and it is an annual collection of film, interactive media, conferences and music festivals in Austin, Texas. The event grows with each passing year and has been in effect since 1987. The SXSW music festival is actually the largest in the world with hundreds of acts participating.

As far as who is performing at the music festival this year, there are so many people appearing, but some of the big names you may recognize include Loretta Lynn and Charli XCX.
