Joanie Laurer, most commonly known as WWE legend Chyna, has died and left behind an estimated net worth of $1.5 million. So, who does her fortune go to? Was she married? The answer is no, she is not married. In fact, for many years, Chyna was estranged from her family and, in 2014, her father passed away. Fortunately, she had reportedly made up with her mother in the beginning of 2015.
As for Chyna’s love life, she has not been reported as currently dating anyone. In the past, however, she has had rocky relationships with two wrestlers. For four years until the year 2000, Chyna actually dated wrestler Paul “Triple H” Levesque. Though the two were no longer together for quite some time, Triple H stated in February 2015 during a podcast that Chyna deserved to be in the WWE Hall of Fame. After this occurred, Chyna stated in an interview that Triple H had hit her, which he then denied. Wrestlezone reports that in Chyna’s interview with Vince Russo, she stated:
I think Hunter’s plan was to get me to leave the relationship first. That way he could start dating Stephanie and everything would be cool. We got into a heated argument. We were not getting along. I told him ‘I know something’s going on; don’t tell me something’s not going on.’ He swiped my hand, I swiped his hand, and then he hit me. And that’s a deal-breaker for me. The relationship is now over. After that I know that he was crying, and I know that he felt bad that he hit me. I was just in shock; it felt like a Jerry Springer moment, it was very surreal. I just couldn’t believe that he hit me.
So, in addition to saying that Triple H had hit her, she also said that he was cheating on her with WWE’s Stephanie McMahon.
Chyna’s other high-profile relationship was with wrestler Sean Waltman, who she dated on and off for a couple years, starting in 2003. The two even became engaged and shot a sex tap, which was sold. The video was edited with the title 1 Night In China. In 2005, Chyna was arrested for domestic assault against Waltman. Upon Chyna’s arrest, Waltman posted the following statement on his website:
Joanie was arrested on January 1st for domestic battery. She assualted me struck me in the head and face countless times after getting back from the Playboy Mansion. There were several witnesses to her behavior, including Jeff Meecham from The Extreme Mayhem Show, and unfortunately my two children witnessed and heard all of this. She was released today once again having to suffer no consequences for her behavior. She showed no remorse.
There are no reports of a current romantic relationship in Chyna’s life.
