Exactly a year before its premiere, production has wrapped on the Baywatch movie. Paramount Pictures is celebrating with a first-look photo of the cast and a fun postcard from the beach.
The movie reboot of the ’90s classic TV series stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zac Efron and hits theaters on May 19, 2017. The cast also includes Jon Bass, Alexandra Daddario, Kelly Rohrbach, and Ilfenesh Hadera. Priyanka Chopra also stars as the villain, Victoria Leeds.
Stars from the Baywatch show including David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson will make cameos in the film. Johnson, who has documented nearly every second of filming, paid tribute to both the stars on his Instagram.
Johnson called Anderson’s character, CJ Parker, one of the most iconic characters of a generation. Writing about Hasselhoff, he said:
