WATCH: New Trailer for Tim Burton’s ‘Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children’

The new movie from director Tim Burton, Miss Peregrine’s Home For Peculiar Children, finds him back in familiar territory as the new trailer shows.

Miss Peregrine’s, produced at 20th Century Fox, is Burton’s follow-up to the much more low-key Big Eyes. That film disappointed critics and ended up with zero Oscar nominations, despite Amy Adams’ Golden Globe win. Burton is back to his old self though with this new movie.

It’s based on the novel by Ransom Riggs and centers on a bizarre home where children have mysterious powers. Asa Butterfield (Hugo) stars as Jacob, who stumbles into Miss Peregrine’s. He doesn’t think he fits, but Miss Peregrine (Eva Green) insists that he is a special boy who can help them. Samuel L. Jackson is also very creepy in this new trailer.

Here is the previous trailer, which was released in March.

Miss Peregrine’s opens on September 30.
