TMZ is reporting that Angelina Jolie filed force divorce from Brad Pitt. The listed date of separation is September 15, 2016 and the cause is “irreconcilable differences.” But why is she divorcing the movie star?
According to a source to TMZ, Jolie doesn’t like the way Brad has been parenting their children. Jolie is not asking for spousal support. She is being represented by Laura Wasser and is asking for physical custody of the children with visitation rights for Pitt.
It was stated that there was no cheating, however recent reports of jealousy and marital troubles between the two have been made. Star Magazine reported in June that Jolie and Pitt were already embroiled in a $450 million divorce.
On September 19, Morning News USA reported a recent rumor that Pitt had allegedly shown interest in Gwyneth Paltrow. The rumor was quickly shot down.
The Inquisitr also cites recent reports that Pitt has had off-screen chemistry with his Allied co-star, Marion Cotillard.
According to Page Six, Jolie dumped Pitt after a private eye uncovered that he was having an affair with Cotillard.
Jolie and Pitt met while filming 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith. At the time, Pitt was married to Jennifer Aniston. Since then, Jolie and Pitt have had and adopted a total of 6 children.
