Before you say, “Wait, that’s not Kerry Washington!” after Grey’s Anatomy ends tonight on ABC, let us explain. It’s a new show called Notorious, starring former Covert Affairs actress Piper Perabo, and it’s standing in for Scandal, which won’t start until later this season. Read on for a preview of the new show and to find out when it airs.
Notorious will try to earn its place in the new TGT line-up, sandwiched between Grey’s and How To Get Away With Murder. Although Shonda Rhimes isn’t involved, Notorious still has a soapy flair. Perabo stars as a TV executive and Daniel Sunjata stars as a defense attorney. The show centers on the relationship between the media and defense attorneys, who use each other to manipulate how the public thinks about a case.
The show was created by Josh Berman (CSI, Bones) and Allie Hagan.
