After the second season of Rosewood premieres, Fox is hoping audiences stick around for a new series. Simply titled Pitch, the new show stars Kylie Bunbury as the first woman pitcher in Major League Baseball history. Read on for a preview of the show and to learn what time the show debuts.
Since Pitch was produced with the help of the MLB, creators Rick Singer (Younger) and Dan Fogelman (who is also behind the new NBC show This Is Us) were allowed to use a real team in the show. Bunbury’s character, Ginny Baker, plays for the San Diego Padres. Plus announcers Joe Buck and John Smoltz played themselves in the pilot.
