Kennedy is widely known for playing the role of Mika on the hit series The Walking Dead. Shortly after moving to Atlanta, the young actress booked the role of Izzie in the made-for-TV movie, Raising Izzie. She received the Grace Award at the 21st Movieguide Awards and a Young Artist Award for Best Actress for her work in the film.
