Game 1 of the 2016 World Series between the Cleveland Indians and Chicago Cubs starts on October 25, which means that Jess will have to hold off on worrying about her secret crush on Nick for another week. The next episode of New Girl does not air until Tuesday, November 15 at 8:30 p.m. ET.
In the previous episode of New Girl, “Jaipur Aviv,” Schmit (Max Greenfield) and Cece (Hannah Simone) began working on their home while Nick (Jake Johnson) dropped a bombshell on Jess (Zooey Deschanel). He planned on asking Reagan (Megan Fox, who will eventually appear this season) to move into the loft. Jess pretended to be OK with this, but Cece thought it was a terrible idea. However, Nick begins to second-guess himself (again) and votes against letting Reagan move in. At the end of the episode though, Winston sends a text to Reagan to invite her to move in, using Nick’s phone.
The next episode is called “James Wonder” and has Jess trying to impress the Parents’ Council as she hopes to become principal. Here’s the full episode synopsis:
Jess’ efforts to land the soon-to-be-open principal’s job require her to impress the difficult president of the Parents’ Council. Meanwhile, Winston’s undercover skills are tested; and Nick can’t seem to find the perfect wedding gift for Schmidt and Cece.
