“I never thought I was able to let go of the past,” he told ET. “Just everywhere from touring to personal life. I mean, there’s so many things that are involved, it’s just been a smorgasbord of craziness for 10 years… and that was really talking about me as a single guy — and now I’m married.”

Urie said that, despite no longer being single, he still likes writing about the partying life.

“I like writing about parties –so a lot of this stuff is about parties that I’ve gone to where I’m trying to recall exactly what happened — kind of in a hangover sense, trying to piece sense together and put it in a song,” he told ET. “This is like my best recollection of parties that I’ve been do.”

It was very important for us to have this day reflect our love for one another, something beautiful, romantic, whimsical, and unique. Every detail really came together the day of and we became very emotional when we finally got to see it all at once. We were honestly speechless at how beautiful everything was – it truly felt like a real life fairy tale.

Their first dance was to the song “Faithfully” by Journey and they had a vintage dresser used as a bar.

“I chose it to be the main bar of the night as a special piece devoted to Brendon. The man loves his beer/whiskey, so I wanted to surprise him by having that area be a special highlight. He loved it,” Sarah told Green Wedding Shoes.

During a Reddit AMA, Urie said that they met while Panic was touring for Pretty. Odd.. He wrote:

I met Sarah while touring for Pretty. Odd.. She was dating someone else at the time, but I couldn’t get her out of my mind. By some good fortune and some help from mutual friends, we met up again 8 months later when she happened to be single. We’ve been smiling with each other ever since. Goddamn, she’s amazing.

Sarah is a avid Instagram user, with over 407,000 followers. The negative of being so active and posting so often is that it will sometimes give people a venue to say nasty things about you. Sarah learned that the hard way, as the following Tumblr post shows.

Urie also told “fans” to stop attacking his wife with negative comments on social media. “It disgusts me the shit “fans” will say about the people I love most. If you’re one of them, just know I think you’re shit. Get f***ed,” he wrote.

This was not always the case. In the first few months of the marriage, Urie told OK! Magazine that his fans had been were happy for his marriage. He said:

Actually it has been kind of nice! I was expecting a couple different things, like some real bad lashing out, some other comments. But so far it has been really supportive. Married life is—Sarah and I have been together for five years now, and married almost 6 months. So it’s been great, it hasn’t been too different, the only difference is we call each other wife and husband, which is just an extra bonus. It’s really nice.

He further explained that he would definitely classify himself as straight, but admitted to experimenting in the past “in other realms of homosexuality and bisexuality.”

“Overall I’m more attracted to women,” he continued. “Like with my wife, I’m just so insanely in love and attracted to my wife that I go, ‘Well, OK, my love of musicals can’t trump that I love p***y.'”
